What is Tracer Factory – Recalls Manager?

Tracer Factory – Recalls Manager is a traceability system designed to facilitate recall management. It provides ‘downstream’ and ‘upstream’ traceability through product genealogy tree visibility at the LOT level. By identifying raw materials and assigning them to specific LOTs, Tracer Factory – Recalls Manager keeps records of where, how and when every product and its packaging material was produced, the enterprise(s) that produced it, and where it was sent.

Also, there is growing concern for traceability in the Packaging Materials sector. According to the European Directive 1935/2004 article 17, all packaging materials (paper, plastic, metal, glass, etc) that come in direct contact with food must be traceable.
